Inkari Lodge is located in the Guayllabamba Valley, one of Ecuador’s inter-Andean valleys. This green and fertile valley has a pleasant climate. The production of avocado, citrus and custard apple makes this a productive place visited by tourists. This valley is crossed by the equator. It has an average altitude of 2,000 meters (6,562 feet) and is located 30 kilometers (18 miles) north of Quito.
HOW TO ARRIVEAT THE LODGE
From Quito, you must take the Pan-American Highway to Guayllabamba. Passing this town, you come to a roundabout where you must take the road that goes to Quinche or Cayambe. After this turn-off, continue 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) until you reach the entrance to the Lodge.
From the airport, you take the Collas route northbound. Once you reach the Pan-American Highway, you must go to Guayllabamba. Passing this town, you come to a roundabout where you must take the road that goes to Quinche or Cayambe. After this turn-off, continue 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) until you reach the entrance to the Lodge.
From Quinche or Cayambe, you should take the road that goes to the town of Cusubamba. Once there, you should go in the direction of Guayllabamba. Two kilometers (1.2 miles) before reaching the village, you will find the entrance to the Lodge.
