The Lodge
Inrakí Lodge is the ideal option for those looking to stay near Quito yet be in the midst of nature. It is located a mere 30 minutes from Quito or the airport, in the warm Guayllabamba Valley, on the La Victoria Hacienda, at 2,000 meters (6,562 feet) altitude.
The hacienda’s attractions allow us to offer our guests the opportunity to enjoy various experiences such as hiking trails within the Andean dry forest surrounding the lodge, visiting the summer and bromeliad flower plantations, and undertaking activities like bird watching, bicycling, horseback riding or yoga. Certainly our mission is to provide you, our guests, a safe, exclusive, and personalized country ambience!
The lodge is named in honor of Guayllabamba. Inrakí was the ancient name of this village of the Quitu-Cara people.

Environmental commitment
We are a family business with great respect and commitment to nature for everything she provides us! The Lodge is another opportunity that allows us to work with sustainable practices. The Lodge’s environmental policies are focused on properly managing water and waste, consumption of organic and local produce, teaching and providing environmental education about the Andean dry forest to the people who visit us, and train local people we work with.
Services
We have 4 cabins in the woods that are named after the native vegetation of the surrounding Andean dry forest: Algarrobo, Bromeliad, Cabuya and Tunas. They accommodate 13 guests.
They have:
- Private bath with hot water.
- WiFi connection.
- Dining room with drink bar.
- Spaces to relax or read in the extensive gardens and hammocks.
- Restaurant service: breakfast, lunch, box lunches and dinner. The foods offered are made with organic products from our gardens, and the menus we offer are based on the Ayurveda philosophy.
- Artisan shop
- One-day or several-day tours within and outside the hacienda.
- Transfers from and to Quito and the airport.
